I have my E71 set up so it displays forthcoming meetings on my Home Screen.  That is, the next meeting in my calendar that hasn't started yet is displayed.  Once the time for the meeting/appointment to start has passed it doesn't show up any more.  This means if I'm running late there is nothing on the Home Screen about the meeting I'm supposed to be at.  This is really annoying.

Is there some way to change the Home Screen/Calendar set up so appointments keep being displayed on the Home Screen until they are supposed to end?

hi i don't know if what you are asking if possible but when that happens to me I just go to the calenda by pressing the 2nd quick key and all the appointments for the day will be listed in chronological order.  I know that to have the reminder on the home screen is nice but this could be a workaround. Hope it helps!

I've got a similar problem with all day events (which seems to be treated as an appointment from 12:00 am - 11:59 pm). All day events are listed as 12:00 am - 11:59 pm. Once midnight passes, the entry is no longer shown on the home screen. They show up the day before (I think it shows entries up to a week in advance), but once the time has arrived (in this case, 12:00 am) the entry is no longer shown. Since the entry is an all day event, I would like it to show on the home screen when I wake up in the morning of the day of the event to see what I have lined up. Making a memo entry shows until the day has passed, however. I would like this behavior with the all day appointments as well. Is there a way? TIA.

Hi. I actually have a question as to how you're getting your phone to display those upcoming appointments. Mine only displays appointments that are scheduled for today - did I misread you, or is your phone actually showing the next one from however far in advance? I know it's done on the N95...
