Hi

I'm having a small problem with my new phone the Nokia E71.

I just got a new one as i broke my old one but the home screen seems to of changed on this new phone and I cant figure out how to change it back?!

The icons on the home screen (the shortcuts that appear across the top) used to appear down the left hand side on my old phone and I cant find a way to change it to display the same on this one?!

I'm 99% sure I never downloaded anything in order to achieve this so im thoroughly confused!

Select Menu > Tools > Settings > General.
Select from the following:
• Personalisation standby theme select vertical

I get as far as General  then im a lil lost.. I tried Personalisation but in there theres just display, home screen, tones, themes, language, voice comms, notification light, one touch keys.

Again I tried themes but then all I get it general, menu view, wall paper, power saver.

its in the display or home screen folder cant remember to be exact been long time since i had this model

It isn't in either of them unfortunately, I can removed items and add items but it wont let me change the appearance of the home screen itself. Thanks anyway.

Yea that shows how to edit all the icons but not reposition them.

I dont get it I did it easily on my old one how can it be this hard?!

this looks like a custom theme is your new phone branded

Yeah its an Orange phone, I thought it might be that but my old one was orange aswell.

If it is a custom theme do you know anywhere i might be able to get it? or ones similar?
