Hi all,

My E71 screen goes blank and hangs while charging. This happend two times to me now. I cannot turn off the phone also. But I can answer the calls. My firmware version is 410.21.010. Please help. Thanks.

I have the same problem. I bought the phone about 5 days back and have already seen it hanging thrice!

Only workaround I found is to turn off the phone and charge. Anyone at nokia do not know this issue? Is it a S/W bug or H/W issue?

Did u both tried Soft reset?

*#7370# Enter your lock code, default code is 12345

Back up ur data, it'll wipe ur C/phone memory.
But i recommend to backup MANUALLY.

Its up to you. if You want to reinstall firmware again u can do that. and Soft reset is easy way to go so give it a try. and REMEMBER to backup MANUALLY,

I too get this - UK model E71 firmware 4.x.
