E71 Bluetooth Flakey - Acura HandsFreeLink TM

I have a severe problem with my 2007 Acura TL-S with the bluetooth integrated into the $4500 Audio / NAV / Phone system. I have connected several phones to this car without a problem.

THE E71 DOES NOT WORK AND APPEARS TO BE NOT COMPATIBLE - due likely to some Nokia screw-up with the BlueTooth implementation.

It is totally flakey, connects / disconnects at will - and never really works at all.

$40K car / $450 state of the art phone - Sucks to be me!

The Acura dealer even replaced the $890 bluetooth / motherboard which did not resolve the issue. At this point I am pretty sure Nokia has goofed something up here.

Ideas? Solutions?

I believe we are seeing the same thing.  I have a 2007 TL also and experiencing something similar.  Just loaded the 300 series software and no improvement.  Bug was opened up at Nokia in October 2008 (specific 2007 TL, E71-2, Software 200 series).  Still hoping that it will be addressed. sm
