E71 - Basic Synchronisation with Outlook 2003

Hi,

I've just bought my new Nokia E71 and I really enjoy it.

I have nethertheless a huge issue with it, I'm not able to synchronise it ( by USB Cable) with outlook 2003 by using PC Suite ( 7.1.40.1  ).   I read in the PC suite help notice that it should be possible !    When I open PC suite sofware and I put the mouse on synchronisation button,  I can read in the help comments :  synchrone your phone with contacts, meetings ans email ....

My aim is to transfer my mail from PC desktop to E71 in order to read and treat mails them during "boring" meetings, and then synchronise again with PC desktop.

I know that I could have a complete synchronisation with MFE but my professional subscrption do not allow it ( no unlimited data & email connection...)

My second question is : does MFE allow local cable synchronisation ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards

Re: E71 - Basic Synchronisation with Outlook 2003

I don't know why it won't sync with Outlook 2003 and yes it should do. I can sync with Outlook Express (windows address book) using the same version of PC Suite but I only have 30 or so contacts. I'm not sure what it is you are saying about what happens.

You can only use MFE over-the-air, not using the cable (or bluetooth I assume).
