can you let us know when youve ACTUALLY downloaded this mysterious 400 FW, my update is also the current one, what ever that is 300 ?????

just checked using suite, im still useing FW200, and update would put in 300, no sign of a 400. Might it be country dependant ?

You must wait until it appears in NSU. Now its only available to download manually form for example: http://www.a2phone.com/e71-rm-346-mea-400-21-013-v6-0 and than upload by 3rd party software. 

But like Tomek said.. There's still 2s delay in this firmware..

while downloading from the links "lapinek" gave me the post claiming ~okia had vers 400 available on their site. So i thought id try anuprade thru the normal chanels.

!. It only upfraded me from 200 to 300.

2 It didnt (after doing a backup b4 the upgrade) resore all the apps i had installed during the restore. How ever, it left the apps in "app manager, but no icons in "intallations.

3. It made a pigs ear of restoring Ovi Maps. If trying to start Maps from the home screen, it froze at 30% loading (eith the globe in the screen) and ig trying thru GPS folder, it just messaged "cannot start Ovi maps, please down load from ovi bla bla bla.. Took me a hell of a time to get that right bt redownloading Maps 3.

And after all that, as we are all aware, the 300 upgrade has no fix, HOWEVER im now reluctant to try 400 due to Nokias response in the last post.

The new update solved the answering call delay on my phone, almost, it stil has a little delay but it is smaller than before.

Well, new firmware version (v400) didn't resolve the issue with calling answer delay It seems that Nokia doesn't pay attention to our screams at all.

Also, I noticed that there isn't any delay if I turn on "silent profile"!

Did anybody else find the solution or notice simillar behaviour with the silent profile?

Yes, in my case it’s definitely related to a ringtone playing.

If I turn off ringing or answer between two parts of ringtone sound, callers can hear me perfectly well without delay. If I answer during ringtone sound playing, there is the delay and they missed my few words.

Ok, I figured it out when exactly is this answering delay occuring!

It's about Ringing type in Profiles.

If you set (on any profile - even Silent!) ringing type: Ringing, Ascending or Ring once the delay will occur!

On ringing types Beep once and Silent there is not delay!!

I hope this will help someone to find a final solution to this problem.

Test it on your E71 and E66

(upper test is from E66 with v300.21.012)

Until now my E71 makes 3 visits to Nokia Care service and NOTHING HAPPENS. Tomorrow will be 4th visit. I'll keep you informed.

Glad I'm not the only one having this fault, ever since I got my e71 I've had a fault with it got the phone about 23 weeks ago and for 11 weeks its been in for repair. Fault started with freezing when selecting the menu button, sent the phone back had a software upgrade and new screen, got the phone back and still did it, sent it away again and got a software upgrade, new case got the phone back and all the applications have  gone and now have the delay when answering. Sent the phone back the same week guess what?..... They done a software upgrade and replaced the case???????? And the fault is still there press answer hello..... HELLO........ It driving me crazy. Called my service provider again they really couldn't care less, on the last call to them they put me on hold for 30mins then the phone got cut off and no call back.
