It's not a operator problem(swapped simcards to check). My first E66 lasts for one day,got it exchanged for another, same problem. What happen is that the signal is actually very good, until you pick the phone up. It seems as soon as you touch it, your bare hand kind of create a short circuit on the phone(cover your hand with a piece of cloth and the signal do not weaken that much!!). Have it send in for "repair" got it back and the problem is still there. In your urban areas it managed to hold the signal, but don't go to the countryside where the signal strength is 40-60%. The latest is that I must send it back so that they can replace the circuitboard. Can you imagine having a new handset that is about 2 months old, being repaired three times and having no use at all for the time. My advice to any one out there is to keep your old handset because you're going to need it! How on earth can Nokia and for that matter the operators launch a phone without testing it's performance is absurd.
As a Nokia user for many years I suppose that I must look for alternatives.
