E65 - Turning on display light when slider closed

Is there a setting that allows the E65 to turn on the display light when the slider is closed and the keys are locked? In other Nokia models I've used, when I press any button, the display will turn on (so I can see the time / calendar) but the keys stay locked.

Is there similar functionality for the E65? It's annoying having to unlock the phone just to check the time.

Pressing the power button should activate the lights even if the phone is locked.
