I am using E65. I just added a photo of my daughter and set it as wallpaper in the media/gallery. However the face of the screen has so many other things (Calendar items for today, Tasks, WLAN, menuu) on top of the pic that I could barely see it.  Can I either remove these other items or bring the photo yo the foreground?  Any idea will be appreciated.  Thanks

You could use the basic home screen:

Go to Settings, General, Personalisation, Home Screen Mode and change it from "Active" to "Basic".

See if you like it this way!

I don't know about thing which the above poster has posted is true or not. But in Nseries you can go to
Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Personalisation>Standby mode>Active standby>Off.
I don't know if Eseries also have same feature?
Try it as i said or else try the one as stated by other poster.
