Hi,
Recently I noticed while i'm pressing End call/Red key within any application, phone is going to standby screen/home and the running application getting closed.
Is this normal? I think instead of applications getting closed they should be running on background. what u people think and how your phone handling this situation. Please let me know.
My E63 is running on firmware version 500.21.009

It is normal, though some 3rd party applications do not implement that function. That red button should 'end' any currrently on screen application.

If you want to keep the current application run on background, push the home button shortly once. It will go to Home Screen.

If you want to see the list of currently running application, push the home button rather longer until the list appears. Then, you can use navigation button up/down to select the icon of an application and push center button to make it appear on screen.
