I post this message because I have several issues with the Nokia E63, this is the first Nokia to disappoint me like this.
I have bought it 6 months ago in Paris, France.
- Each time I turn on the phone and enter my PIN Code, the phone asm me if i want to allow the mail assistant to connect to the network. I have already set my email up so I select "no" each time. I have sought through the manual and the mobile menus but I did not find the solution to disactivate this service
- Once or twice a week it is impossible to acce to my messages (sms & mails), the error message (translated from french to english) is "memory full, close some application and try again". Actually, no others applications are running so... When I was stocking my messages on the SD card it was worse, now I read them on the mobile phone, but I still got the issue. I havec checked the available memory, I have plenty enough
- I have an issue but I do not know if this is Network or Phone related. At home I got trouble since two week to send./retrieve call and sms with the nokia E63. With a Samsung E2210B with the same SIM Card : it works without a problem.
- The email notification is activated but does not work in Dynamic Mode : I have only a "@" icon but no the email 1 and 2 notification do not apprear anymore. In simple mode it works (email notification pop-up)
The phone is slow to turn on; almost thirty seconds.

I sometimes get the 2nd problem (full memory) too. and there's no way out of it except for restaring the phone
plus I recently upgraded my nokia firmware from 1 to 4.021 (or something like that) and now I CAN'T connect to wi-fi connections anymore! >:
I have tried reseting to factory setting, removing access points and seting them again, manula and saved passwords,.... but each time I open the browser the small wi-fi icon apears on top of the screen WITHOUT connection. And the icon doesnt disapear after closing or disconnecting the connection.
I'm so angry I updated 110 mb! to damage my wi-fi features...

It's advised to reset the E63 after a firmware update. Dial *#7370# 12345 reformat, you'll lose all data. Make a backup first and restore without the settings. Clean out messages and browser cache to avoid "memory full" errors.
