Hi all,

I have a problem with contacts on my E63.

Usually, when I start typing the name of a person on the main screen names appear, I select the one I want and I can call.

Now this doesn't happen anymore, ie names are not appearing.

Why? What should I do? Anybody had the same problem?

try a factory reset type in *#7780# and use 12345 as security code

no. how can I do that? Will I lose my data?

you will need a pc and check nokia software updater and of course your data cable you wont loose data

Success!

That option was disabled, i had "contact search off" for some reason.

I also have the same problem...Pl tell me how you switched the "contact search  ON"

press home button>> tools >> settings>>> phone>> Call >>> contact search on/off
