E63 and Ubuntu

.

If you use Ubuntu, how do you synch your E63 and computer?

What application do you use on Ubuntu to do so?

Do you know any site discussing this issue?

Thank you.

DL

Re: E63 and Ubuntu

Have you tried installing Nokia PC suite using WINE?  Ovi suite didn't work for mw when I tried installing it. I didn't find any application which can do that directly, but posting in http://ubuntuforums.org may help you a bit.

Re: E63 and Ubuntu

Thank you for the response. I will go to askubuntu.com first since I already join it. To me, it is not that easy moving from Windows to Linux due to the availability of some third party applications and drivers. Do you feel the same? Thank you. DL .

Re: E63 and Ubuntu

I moved to Ubuntu from windows almost a year back and I like it. I don't feel like that because everything works just out of the box, no drivers needed for basic operations, no AV, no messing around. For my use Ubuntu serves very well and I don't want to go to windows unless if there is a real need. I also like the way how network connections are handled in Linux distros. Try WINE, just give it a shot, for wine compatible Windows apps go to http://windehq.org. Good luck
