I've got 400.21.013 firmware version. And when i lock the keypad and press the flash button, it doesn't work. But in when i unlock the keypad it works. I had version 110.xx.xxx and the flash worked when i locked the keypad. Please help me.

I think it's firmware related.

That behaviour of the flashlight has been corrected in the latest firmwares:

v 410.21.010 or the very latest:

v 500.21.009 (which I updgraded)

The flashlight now works as you mention.

You must make the upgrade via Nokia Software Update. You also need a CA-101 usb data cable.

Yes but the problem is that i have Romanian language and this is the latest update for this language.

Then my friend, the only thing you can do to use flashlight when the key pad is locked is:

Don't use shortcut to lock the keypad instead while on the home screen click the End/Power button and select "Lock Keypad". It is the only way for the Firmware version you are using(which is the latest upgrade for your desired language).

The Flashlight also works when keypad is Auto-locked(when the Keypad gets locked automatically after certain time period set). The default time period for auto lock is 2 minutes.

not like that, you need to check it in the Option menu as "Mark as Solution" to the reply which solves ur problem/query..
