My E6 shows no signal inside room (I tested by changing SIM to Nokia 5233 which shows 4 lines in the sames place). Outside the signal strength fluctuates.

Can anybody suggest a solution?

Could be a faulty handset, or faulty SIM card. Try replacing the SIM card first.
Also, different handsets read SIM cards differently than others (ie just because the SIM card works better in another handset doesnt mean its the lesser performing handset is faulty).

Thanks Metalfan. As mentioned in my mail, I have replaced SIM and tried.

I have deposited the handset with Nokia Care (it is still under warranty) and they need 10days. I will update on the progress.

Today I collected the handset from Nokia Care. Looks like problem is fixed. I really hope that I won't face anyother issues going forward.
