E6-Nokia VPN CLient-Saving VPN Passwort permanently

Hello,
I have a problem with the storage of the VPN password in the VPN client on a Nokia E6. It comes in every time when the query-connect the VPN password. How can I permanently save the password?
Cisco IPsec  Xauth PSK.
The same problem I have the VPN client from a X7.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much

Re: E6-Nokia VPN CLient-Saving VPN Passwort permanently

Hi,

VPN remenbers your username and prefills it after the first time. When using Cisco

Pre-shared key with Xauth authentication there is also a feature to support

password caching. You can just add line:

USE_CACHE: TRUE

right after the

USE_XAUTH: TRUE

in the .pol file, repack the .vpn and install it.  It then remembers your password after the first time and does not ask anything. You can find the paramer also in NCT tool in Advanced

Settings section.

IT IS NATURALLY A SECURITY RISK TO USE IT, SINCE ANYBODY CAN

THEN CONNECT TO YOUR VPN ACCOUNT WITH YOUR PHONE, SO

USE IT ONLY IF YOU ARE SURE THAT IT IS NOT A PROBLEM FOR YOU.

You can consider activating device lock to mitigate the risk.

Look at more details of the VPN Policy parameters in the Policy spec:

Thanks,
