hi there! please HELP.
my new NOKIA E52 (bought in jan2010 from ebay as a new phone with warranty), is loosing time and date after i remove battery for a longer than 5 second (7sec is allready too long, i tried that...). every time i do this, i have to set the time and date again and again, and it is quite annoying. that the issue. this is doing since the beginning...
what i tried already: removed memory card, restarted to factory settings from menu, using *#7780#, *#7370#, and: " * 3 green phone power " button combination.
i got the newest firmware: 033.002.C001.01 from 10-feb 2010.
FYI:
i called nokia care line already.
the girl sitting there told me, that is a new feature of new manager E series phones, what i thing is big bull****. i think she had no idea, what we where talking about. then she told me, she will discuss this problem with technical departement, and she will get back to me... what didn't happend... so far... and it is more then 10 days already. the thing is, if she wasn't sure how to help me, she should say that, and she shouldn't pretend, she is clever...
thank anyone beforehand for his help, if is it problem of the phone, please let me know ASAP, because i need to send it to the warranty immediatelly, cos i leave the country soon for good...
thank yous

Having to enter the time and date everytime you remove the battery is usually the sign of a faulty auxilliary battery. Bring it to your local Noia Care Point for them to check it out. If it is then it should be replaced under warranty.
You can find your nearest Nokia Care Point at:

thank you for your help, but i have some more Q.
can i just take the phone with me, and bring it to the care point, and they will fix it for me, even
if i bought it from ebay from some retail shop?
because it is quite close to where i live, and if i can take it there, and they would fix it for me, it would be faster for me then send it back to the seller... and as i mentioned, i got lack of time...
thanks for your help again...

They should repair it for you but you may have to pay for it. Nokia warranty is only valid in the country of purchase or region in the case of Europe. Also depends on whether the previous owner voided the warranty by doing things to the phone he wasn't supposed to. Bottom line is you won't know for sure until you present it to the care point.
