Hi, Just had my E52 for a couple of days. The unread message symbol is blinkin continously in the main display, although there are for sure no unread messages in the inbox. Anybody who knows why and how to solve it? Thanks. Roger

Thats probably ur SIM messages Go to messaging > options > SIM messages and delete them

I have the same problem except I have no SIM messages so that can't be it. Any other ideas?

Maybe u have an unread message on ur inbox or a message waiting to come in due to lack of memory in the phone to store it if u have many messages stored in ur inbox delete the umwanted ones and check

I presume u have an E52 too

I have no unread messages and no incoming either (I tried deleted some as you said). I don't know if it has to do with anything that I imported a bunch of messages from my old N73, and yes it's an E52.

If I only had a brain I should have turned off the Stand by pulse-indicator so the problem would be solved

Thanks. I finally got rid of that irritating blinks which was due to messages stored in the sim card. Manual did not mention it.
