On my E52 I have phone lock which activates automatically in 10 minutes. The problem is that the phone lock code expires for every 24 hours.
It is really annoying to enter old phone lock code, new phone lock code and finally confirm the new lock code every 24 hours. I think it maybe has something to do with the security issues in Microsoft exhange.
Is there someone which can help? My software version is 71.004.

Hi shestetun,
The lock code on your E52 does not have to be changed every 24 hours. However, when you use Mail for Exchange, this can be configured as a way to secure the account more thoroughly. This can be changed by your administrator.
It is not possible to change this onto the phone itself,0 as this is not configured in the phone but in the exchange account. Please contact your administrator to see if this can be changed for you.
Hope this helps.

I have recently set up MfE on 100 E52, and I'm experiencing the exact same problem as Shestetun on about half of them. They all connect to the same Exchange Server with the same policies, but it's only on about half of them that the phone lock code expires every 24 hours.
The Exchange Server is set up to not expire password on the device, and other devices sync'ing with the server (iPhones and Androids) doesn't get a phone lock expired message.
Any help resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.

I experience the exact same problem with the latest firmware and email-client. We use Exchange 2010.
@Nokia: Please Sort this out.. It is a major problem for our organization..

I have the same problem with Nokia E75. Phone lock code expired every 24 hours. No difference if the lock code is distributed by policy via mail for exchange or if it is configured on the phone without policy.

this is happening to some of our customers using E72's and they are using Exchange 2010. it seems to request the change every 24-36hrs
E71's, iPhones, Android and E6's are all fine using the same servers
