Does anybody find the way how to set default SMS number per Contact?
Everytime I have to choose a number from many stored in current contact. Missed I something or E52 missing this feature (as many other things)?

I'am getting so sick and tired of this wastrel ... oh sorry... phone.

I assume you have many numbers under one contact name and when u select them in messaging a pop up asks you which number to select.

In that case go to Contacts->select contact with many nos->Options->Defaults->Msg.number/address->select the no u want.

Yes, it works. But only if I get to create a new message trough menu. Menu -> Messages -> New messages -> Message.
I assigned the Mail buttons action to create new sms message. If i start new sms this way than is default number ignored and I have to choose number manually.

I have also found, that there is a different way to insert text template to the message. It depends on the manner how i create new sms message (menu / button).

Yes,I have noticed that if you set 'new sms' to the one touch keys it does not recognize the defaults on contacts.

Must be a bug or just no brain in nokia developers.

As a workaround assign create new sms to any key direction on Dpad.In that case defaults work, BUT u have to come to home screen always to create a sms.

Such a shame, so stupid bug. Nokia does't know the meaning of the "beta testing" or how to do it. So users are betatesters.
