Hi everybody,
I'm facing recently a big problem with my E51.

Each time i try to remove a sis/sisx program that i previously installed in my phone memory or memory card, the following message shows up "Removing failed" . But removing and installing java programs has no problem. Also if i tried to install any sis/sisx program from the phone or using PC Suite , the following message appear "file corrupted" although i was able to install the same program before without any error messages.

Please help me to solve my problem even with ideas

If you installed these progs on the memorycard there could be a problem. Reset the phone and install your apllications in the phone. Use the memorycard for data.

Have you tried to uninstall those applications drom the menu or from the application manager? If you tried it with the menu, try the same from the application manager.

First of all  thank u hadimassa and mgoksoy for replying.

I can't uninistall or inistall any sis/sisx programs from my phone memory or memory card.

i already tried resitting my phone twise before but nothing happened.  i removed the memory card and also reset the phone and tried uninstalling programs i installed before on phone memory but without progress. the same message " removing failed " keeps showing.

Uninstalling program failure is the same either i used backspace on the application or by using the application manager.

i guess i have a hopeless case and u r the only hope .

Did you do a FULL reset on your phone? Switch the phone off then press the * key, call key, and number 3 key ALL at the same time, and then when STILL pressing these keys press the power key in until your phone powers up. It's quite a tricky thing to do on this phone but when the "Choose a country" screen" pops up you know you've done it. Had similar problems in the past and this has always solved it.

sizzers, does this measure lead to removal of contacts and messages?

Apologies, I should have mentioned but it removes everything. It resets it to how it left the factory so back up all your essentials then reset your phone as I have described.

Also the default lock code will be 12345
