Guys,

As soon as I upgraded my E71 to 210.21.006 the Download folder gives the "Service Not Available" error! Anybody has this problem? Any remedy?

FYI, my WLAN and Internet is working fine.

When you are inside the downloads folder, choose options -> settings -> connection and set it to "always ask". Probably it remembers a connection that for some reasons no longer exist (that's what my e90 did when it behaved the same way).

Did it and doesn't work either . I don't thing the problem is with the Internet connection. It happened only after I updated my firmware. Perhaps it's a system issue! Any remedy?

Does it now ask what connection to use when you enter the Download Folder? And did you try using both wlan / 3g?

Per an earlier post, I think this is a larger problem that may be out of our hands.  I'm on an e90 and the download folder mysteriously stopped working.  It would go through the steps of connecting, downloading, and then I get 'error occurred while browsing'  This occurred for several months and then out of nowhere last week I went into that folder on my e90 and while the word 'download' appears there is no icon.  However, several other icons appeared out of the blue (Applications, Graphics, Tones, Files on Ovi, ForecaWeather, and Trippo).    'Applications' has several interesting programs but 90% of them are trial only -- not free versions to install and use.  Within this folder, the applications seem to be growing.  So far the only one I've tried is Files on Ovi, while cool / interesting concept, it's pricey when there are other services that can do the same for free.  But I digress.  I'm sure this does not help. Sorry.  If you find a solution, please let us know.

I beleive this is NOT the internet connection related issue 'cause I can see it's connected to the Internet (the small WLAN box appears on top right corner of screen). The error is caused due to lack of folder icons like Applications, Tones, Graphics, etc. (which used to be available in the download screen). My guess is that "Download" is now becoming a "Country" specific material and it relates to the product codes. If there's no application authorized for a specific country, then there's no "download" available. Your comments are welcome on this topic.

That's close. As far as I understand, 'Download' and Mosh are being integrated into the Ovi Store. This will have trial apps, free apps and Mosh-type user-developed apps (along with all the other stuff). Ovi Store rollout is expected to begin early may. As a result, Download may not work/refresh in certain geographies.

It seems only middle-east countries are affected (I've heard someone from Syria has the same problem). Anybody from other countries than middle-east have this problem?

I'm also on an E90 and have the same problem - it's definitely not the internet connection - problem is worldwide (there's someone in the United States, a couple of people in the Middle East, South Africa - places that matter), which leads me to believe that someone in Finland should already be on it. If you get a fix, drop a line

I am in the US and so far the Download folder works fine on my E71

There seems to be a change in the download application. I have downloaded the latest version (3.2.818) from the web and although it installed as a seperate application on my E90, it's looking the same as the original one and it's also working fine. On the original application I'm getting the error "unable to update catalog" when going into the Applications folder. On the latest version no problem.

Josefd, Where did you download Download! version 3.2.818 from - or, how did you download it?
