Does anyone have a problem on the E-7 of the desktop widgets and Ovi Social freezing up when used, The Ovi social seems to freeze and forget to sign in too.

Re: Desktop widgets and Ovi Social freezing

Haven't had any major troubles with the widgets I use. The messaging widget has frozen once, but that's pretty much all. As for the social app it's so sluggish. I wish Nokia could do something serious about it. I have stopped using it as I simpley don't have the time waiting for it to execute my wishes.

Re: Desktop widgets and Ovi Social freezing

What widgets are you using btw? Maybe you could start out with a simple reboot to see if anything goes better? Maybe make sure you close apps after use etc? It might be that you're phone is running out of RAM. Might be one of them widgets which are badly written and causing it. Haven't used all, so it might be one u use that I haven't used yet.

Re: Desktop widgets and Ovi Social freezing

I haven't had any freezes on my E7, but also don't tend to use a lot of live widgets either, for the sake of battery use rather than memory ! But removing all your live widgets, and then adding them one at a time to identify the trouble causer may help ?
