Contacts / Phonebook Issue

Very new to Nokia.  Had everything else and were all straight forward to use.  However, Nokia requires a bit more brain power to operate and generally ok but had enough of the contacts.

 

All I want to do, is press a button and be taken to my contacts.  As it is, I press the button and am asked to sign in to go online - not entirely sure what that does.  Or I have to scroll around to the top and select contacts and boom there we go.  I have tried to uninstall ovi contacts but its not having it.

 

That is the only thing for the moment that is really doing my head in.   anyone got a fix?  thanks
