Does anyone know if there is any sort of firmware upgrade for e71 to enable on screen contact search? My e71 was bought a few months ago and while i like it, i have been waiting for the updater. Now my hubby just got an E71 and it can dial contacts on screen, but i cant seem to find any updater for the older series of E71. That is so unfair. can anyone help pls. thanks

have you tried this Menu-Tools-Settings-Phone-Call-Contact Search, set this to ON.

I was having the same problem.  

I called Nokia help and got NOWHERE.  I did a web search and found your solution.

For the life of me I can't understand why they are SOOO bad?????
