Greetings,
Just bought my Nokia E55, but second writing language option is just Pilipino. Any idea how to change that to chinese (Pinyin Input) ? I googled and found out that E55 is not available in Asia, does that mean that asian language input is not supported on this phone? Thanks!

The E55 is available in Asia but not in China. See the specs of the E55.

for Asia-Pacific region, it's only sold in Australia. How do I find out what other languages are supported on this phone?

Nokia Care might be able to advise you on the availability of a language pack which contains Chinese language for your phone. You contact Nokia Care using the "Contact us" tab to the top right of this screen.

Went to Nokia Care Melbourne this afternoon...the CSR told me there's no such thing as a optional language pack. What you see is what you get. "You bought this phone in Australia..not china, you cannot expect it to support chinese display or input" I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do for you.
I'm baffled by her response. Windows 7 support chinese display, input and even localisation...So what is wrong to expect asian language support from Nokia Symbian? Nokia did not explicitly state that the E55 does not support asian language at its Australian product specification page.
Asians can't use and expect asian language support? iphone, Android can support asian languages no matter where it is distributed...so why can't Nokia? Recounting what I was informed by this lady at Nokia Care just ****bleep**** me off. This is **bleep**! This is going to be my last Nokia. It's going to be either the iphone or Nexus One for my next purchase.
