If you're looking up a business or phone number in the web browser, find the number, move the cursor over the number and click the phone should dial the phone number.

Instead when i click on any phone number i get this error message: "Internet telephone not available."

Any ideas?

Hi,

While you're browsing (I assume it's Nokia's native browser), press the left soft key to view your options. Go down to the tools (or find) and it'll open another menu where you'll find "phone numbers". select that and you're browser will then turn to plain text where you can scroll down to the number you need. Not sure if it works with all sites.

Alternatively, you can use Bolt. it's a free browser that will let you select phone numbers and make a call right from the browser.

That doesn't work, there are really no options when i hit the "options" key, it's just "reload", "exit", or "refine search".

This is a serious bug, making it a pain to search for a number for a business in the browser than dial it.

Nobody has any ideas?

have you tried Bolt? (http://boltbrowser.com/home.html) I personally think it's a far better browser than the Native one.

Other browsers you can choose from are Skyfire (http://www.skyfire.com), Opera Mini (http://www.opera.com/mini/download/), Mobile Firefox (http://mobilefirefox.com/)

Aside from firefox, I've tried and still use all of them. each one has it's strenghts and weaknesses depending on what you want the browser to do.

I had a look at my settings and the only thing I could find that may help is that under my "Internet tel." I have the "default call type" set to "Cellular"

Menu > Communic. > Internet tel.

When I click on telephone numbers I get the option of making a video or voice call and then it starts dialling.

You have a E75??

When you go into "Menu" there is no option called "Communication".

What software version are you using on your E75?

On my E75 (sw: 110.48.125) the Options->Find->Phone number function works perfectly.

on my e63 it is that way,  I dont see an option for clicking on a number and dialing on the built in browser and does seem like an over sight.  However Opera will do that and I tend to use that browser most of the time anyway so no big deal,

Yes, from the E75 built in web browser.

Interesting... what model of the E75 are you using? Mine is a E75-1.

Look out at below:

Tools -> Settings -> Phone ->  Call -> Default Call Type . Make sure that this is set to voice call. try this out and let all know if this works

Where are you seeing the first step called "Tools"???

From what screen are you starting at? The home screen of the phone? 

There is nothing called tools on mine and i have the newest firmware available installed.
