Can't install programs on E72 when memory card is inserted...

Just got an E72 and it wouldn't install any programs. By accident, I tried to install something after having taken out the Micro SD card, and it worked fine. Put the card back in and try installing something, again it doesn't work. 

 

How can I get it to install programs when the card is inserted?

Have you gone into Tools > Memory and then Options (left soft key) > Memory details to see if the phone has a problem with the card. Or you could try File Manager in Office Tools to see whats on it. If its ok and there is nothing on it you want, try formatting it. You could back up it contents before formatting if you want to.

 

Then try it again :smileyhappy:

 

I forgot its an E72, I think you have the memory option within the File Manager!

Looks like the card is corrupted. Just don't install programs or applications on the memorycard. Insert the card IN the phone and NOT on a PC or Mac to format. Remove the card by pressing the red button and choose remove card from the dialog option. If you insert the card later you should hear a short bleep.
