Big E71x Problems

2 big problems with E71x

Problem One:

Brand new E71x

Vista - 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 512MB Video

Nokia PC Suite  7.1.26.0

Connected cable to PC USB 2.0 port

and other end to E71x

Installing Symbian Bible app on E71X doesn't work, even though I'm using version 3 which is the correct one for my phone.  In fact the PC Suite software features work only partially on my phone.

Problem Two:
Phone's 3G connection is squirelly. 9 out of 10 times I cannot connect to Media Net or Media Mall.  I get WLAN: Unable to Connect! WLAN Network not found.

Beginning to think my phone is a pretty piece of junk.  Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

Re: Big E71x Problems - Now Just One

I might cross-post this in order to get an answer to the main problem.

E71x

Remaining problem:

Brand new E71x - AT&T is the service provider
Phone's 3G connection is squirelly. 9 out of 10 times I cannot connect to Media Net or Media Mall.  I get WLAN: Unable to Connect! WLAN Network not found.

I turn WLAN scanning off, reboot the phone, and then try to connect to3 MediaNet or MediaMall, but then the error message

splays: WLAN: Unable to Connect! WLAN Network not found.

Is there something wrong with the hardware or firmware in this phone?

Re: Big E71x Problems

I've already posted this on another thread, but:

Hey, I had that same exact problem when I first got my phone. Try:

Menu->Settings->Config->Connection->Destinations->Internet

Hit left softkey(options), scroll down to "Organize" and change your priorities.

That should do it.
