Battery life on Nokia E6

I saw many variation in the battery life for Nokia E6 user. Maybe we can share some tips to improve battery life or what cause the battery to drain (apps, setting, etc)

I notice that WhatsApp is trying to connect every few second. I force the connectivity to WLAN only with no WLAN connection, and a popup displayed every few second. Even though I exit the WhatsApp, it is still running in background and try to connect every few second. And I cannot find option to log off or disconnect in WhatsApp either.

 

BTW, even when the connectivity setting is "always ask", WhatsApp still manage to connect to internet without asking. Why an application can bypass the connectivity setting of the phone?

 

I think this application may be draining your battery life. Until this application have option to log off or disconnect, i will not use this application.

I suffered this same problem with this Whatsapp on ma previous N86.I havent installed Whatapp on E6 still.
