Yes it has always been geared towards business users with great solid hear put together much better build quality then any n series well maybe with the exception of n 82 tho it oś all plastic it still is wicked solid

E52 does not correspond to E-series quality level by my opinion.

However, E51 is a nice phone.

yes it is true, i am a die hard n series lover, but i can appreciate a well done product. e series have been fairly consistent in releasing solid products with lots of metal, aluminium generally stronger components than any n series. i have been considering getting an e series device just to play with so i can get more familiar with the product. i definitely recommend e series devices for their build and for what they can do if business orientation is your second name

I have had an E51 for almost 2 years which has suffered SERIOUS heavy (ab)use and STILL not a squeak to be heard or a creak to be felt. Unless you've owned one you will not appreciate just how solidly built this phone is. E52 an upgrade? Has the spec, has the tech, but sadly built on the cheap.

I love my E90 and will trade it for nada at this stage, despite the fact that some or other app installed on it has lead to an increasing number of automated shutdowns over the past couple of days -- peaking at over 5 today - lost count.

Other than that, build quality is solid - it lasts, features are excellent. However, the OS tends to be on the slow side, and 128MB RAM / onboard memory & 330 MHz processor is now firmly 2007. Paint going a bit flaky in some spots - corners. Supports microSDHC, which truly extend this one's life. Has all the bells and whistles.

After using several Nokia E-series phones the last four years (Nokia E61, Nokia E61i, Nokia E51, Nokia E90, Nokia E71 and Nokia E72), I believe the Nokia E71 is the best one. In fact one of the best nokia phones ever. The Nokia E90 would be a close second IMHO.

Nokia E-series phones are good phones. Build quality and battery life are their best selling points. Software quality, on the other hand, is their weak point. Usually E-series phones need three or four firmware releases before they remove the bugs and achieve a good level of stability. (some never do).

e71 is by far the best phone Nokia has ever manufactured. Aside from the small irritations of lack of USB charging and lack of 3.5mm headset, e71 can do practically anything.
