I just upgrated my nokia E71-1 phone's software to version 210.21.006. Now I cannot use adobe pdf reader. phone doesn't open the application and when I try to open a pdf file, it says unable to open the file.

anyone having the same problem?

No, in our part oıf the world it's not our turn to get a software update.

To reinstall the reader was just a recommendation to solve the issue. PDF reader is a free software for E71.

Although a price is quoted in the link, I would think that you won't have to pay for it because it normally comes preinstalled on E71.

My nokika 6110 just experienced the problem suddenly. It really desperated me after I found no solution in the internet.

However, by using the Y-Browser application, finally I found a good solution for it.

1) Open the Y-Browser application (you must download it first if you don't install it yet)

2)In the menu, go to "option" > setting>File association > application/pdf

3) Press "option" menu > select "modify" >handler application >put"adobe pdf"

4) Now you can open the pdf file but you have to browse for the file first using the Y-Browser (not directly from the adobe pdf application)
