Adding more Phone languages (E71)

I have 3 phone languages (English, French and Arabic). I would like to add German. How can I do that? Does this require removing one language?

Re: Adding more Phone languages (E71)

To get a language added you need to take the phone to a nokia care point.  They should be able to add German along with the existing languages.

There is no official way for users to install languages themselves.

I'm pretty sure I saw someone suggesting a procedure that entails modifying the handset's Product Code, but I can't find it anymore.

Nokia handsets are sold around the world, and it is not uncommon to see a particular model (specific RM) distributed around the world with as many as 30 different Product Codes, which usually reflect features specific to a market (mostly - National Language Support issues).

You are risking turning your handset into a paperweight, and, personally, I don't believe it is possible, unless an official Nokia Care staffer says it is an offered service that can be carried out by a Nokia Care shop.
