The PRODUCT CODE you gave me is for ARABIC region phones. That is official. But every phone has ENGLISH language installed in every REGION SET.

That helps a lot, so now only reason for you having that phone with ARABIC region code is that it must be from ARABIAN or Middle East region brought to New Zealand!!!
So, the product code you gave me is regular and it stands for Nokia C6-00 manufactured for Arabian market. It has update v40 comming for it. You should wait just a little more!

have updated using nokia software updater...there are symbols on my keyboard not working...like no ? and a few other thing...is their a fix for that?

All this happened after you updated your phone!! If so, it makes only sense to me that someone has altered product code inside your phone before you got it, making it from Arabian to New Zealand region. Now QWERTZ keyboard is screwed because of different formats of slide out keyboards.
There are QWERZ and QWERTY keyboards.
Which one is yours???

mine is qwerty....the letter are fine...all the letters work as they should. punctuation and symbols are different...and function key don't work properly?
