I am having the same problem, but with an interesting and annoying extra. First of all the phone switches off, usually after I have been on a call for about 10 minutes. It is then impossible to restart it for about 3 minutes. The phone also drops its WAN connection. I selected this phone having had it recommended by a friend who works for NOKIA, he won't be on my Christmas card list after this experience. I only collected the phone yesterday from T-Mobile and am so disappointed as I have been a Nokia fan for many years, but if this continues I'll probably change to iPhone 4. Back to the T-Mobile shop tomorrow morning!!!!

I bought 2 weeks ago an Nokia C7 and now I have same problem. My C7 does not turn on. I tried to reset it by pressing volume down key + camera key + menu key + power on key and stiil no turning on. What can I do?

My warranty has expired and would have to pay for service charges had I not found the solution to revive my "dead" C7 in your post. Thank you very much, you're a life-saver!
