Faults of C2-03

HY to all !

Nokia is one of most the leading telecommunication multinational company. However, recently launched C series (C2-03) is one of the cheapest sets both in price and in quality. Unfortunately, I am one of the victims of nokia’s bad manufacturing line. Major complications of C series (C2-03) are:

No Software updates available

Low in built memory

Major complications in Built-in software

Unnecessary merged files

Low battery timing

Manufactured in china (China is addicted to make low-built in memory mobiles)

Cheap reception

Sim manager conflicts (In Dual sim)

These scenarios have changed my vision to look at nokia. I think that C-series is an experiment done by nokia, in the market to see reaction.

All i just want to ask is that, when you guys will make a software capable in performing in low buil-in memory?

Re: Faults of C2-03

Do you actually have a support issue for this forum that the people here can help you with?

This isn't the place for complaints about a model, you will need to contact nokia care for that.

Way I see it is that the C2-03 is a low-end budget model, low memory is to be expected. As for being made in China that is not an issue at all.

Re: Faults of C2-03

Whilst the C2-03 is one of Nokia's lower-price band models, it is designed and built to the same high standards as all Nokia devices, it is unfair to say that Nokia prioducts built in China are low quality because they are made in China, Nokia has factories in a number of countries all of which employ the same high production standards:

http://www.nokia.com/global/about-nokia/company/about-us/production-facilities/production-facilities...

As with any manufacturer, all Nokia devices are created to meet the specific needs of the customers who will buy them, and the specifications are shown cleary on Nokia websites so that every customer has the chance to evaluate the specifications before making a purchase.

With regard to your specific complaints, you are free to give more details - it may well be the case that some of your "major complications" are things that our community can already help you with.

With specific regard to your statement about battery consumption, it is worth noting that a dual-SIM model will have higher power consumption than an equiivelant single-SIM device. There are also a number of factors that can affect power consumption, and one of our members has provided some useful tips here:

Re: Faults of C2-03

The tips you are talking about does not fulfill my headset requirements such as:

Turning off 3G: No 3G available

Turning off GPS: I Don't Use GPS connection much

Turning off Bluetooth/IrDA: Bluetooth is useful but some third party software can hack the Bluetooth enabled device that is why I don't like to enable Bluetooth device much

Turning off WLAN scanning: Not in my use

Lower screen brightness/timeout: LOL C203 does not provide display setting

Close unused applications: this phone is not capable of multi-tasking because of low built in memory

Turn your phone off (or change to "Offline" profile): this is not a solution that can be affective for c-series

Fully discharge from time to time:  done

Set a dark theme:  Done

Re: Faults of C2-03

the Firmware upgrade 7.48 resolved few issues but created new issue and made it unusable now.

after the firmware update Now the Radio is functioning , but the touch screen   not functioning properly could not choose menu, keeps juggling. also that Blue tooth also got disabled.

since many funtions are controled by touch menu it is dificult add a contact , reply to message, read a message (some how managed to read with some alternate options)

please provide a solution to roleback atleast basic phone functionality could work.
