Hi,

I updated my C7 from Anna to Belle yesterday and now the camera gives this error message:

"Unexpected error occured. Please restart the camera. If this does not help, try restarting the phone"

I did all of the following:

1. Restart phone -> no change

2. Factory reset -> no change

3. Reinstall Belle -> no change

Camera with Anna firmware worked fine and the software prior to that.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Same issue on my N8.  Formatted Mass memory, reinstalled belle but still the same issue. No issues in bright places , but whenever flash is required (or try with flash ON setting) I get the same issue. Camera flash Issue i guess. Nokia please provide some solution

I had the same issue with my C7, but when I turned it off, took out the memory card, and restarted the phone with the card, it was ok - and continued working even after I returned the memory card.  Not sure if this will help, but worth giving it a go.

Try hard reset . Be sure to backup your data.

By hard reset I mean the 3 finger reset. But make sure you backup your data. If you are not sure better visit Nokia care.

What keys should I press in my NOKIA N8 ?

1.First backup all your data.
2. Switch off your phone.
3. Press volume down button, camera button, menu button simultaneously.
4. While keeping above buttons pressed, press power button and keep all these four buttons pressed till your phone restarts.
It is possible that you may lose many of your apps. Check software update menu of your phone whether you have any updates available and install them.

Hi,

I am not able to use the camera and even not able to open the gallery on my Nokia C7 after the belle update.

I was not able to use the setting menu after the update of Symbian anna.

Kindly help to fix the issue!!!

Then it is better to take your phone for inspection to a Nokia care centre.

I think, Nokia Belle isn't a complete software and has flaws in it.

My Nokia N8 is still without a camera which is important to me.

We are waiting for a answer from Nokia.

You Cant blame belle for your problem. There must be something gone wrong with your update process. If it were the flaw in belle then can you explain why there are hundreds of people who have successfully updated and have no issues of this nature? Take your phone to local Nokia care and get it repaired.

If my phone is the problem it should not even work with anna or belle or carla or cindy or any other firm. But it works great with Anna.

There are also hundreds of people with all sorts of problems with belle, therefore it is reasonable to assume that the firm is defective.

I hope that Nokia will give us a solution soon, since it is sad to have this phone and not being able to use it at 100%
