Hi There,

I just updated my C6-01 to Belle and I notice a number "1" on the status bar in the middle of the screen. Anyone knows what is that about? No pending emails, messages on the phone. I searched for screenshots but can not see anyone with that "1" shown there. My hunch is that is using phone line "1".. but I don´t see how can it be a number "2" anyway. Any help would be appreciated.

I see an icon that looks like '1' when I have a message in the outbox...check for operator messages/push messages maybe?

1 should not appear for line # as C6-01 does not have dual sim facility and always it's line 1...

Thats what I thought.. if it doesn´t have the ability then it shouldn´t be there in the first place. Will check those messages again..

no message appears to be stucked. I will delete email accounts and check if that is the cause.

Mistery solved. Its the active phone line. I went to settings and changed the phone line and inmediately changed to 2 .. though theres no 2 sim cards slots.

Where did you find this setting? Can you mention specifically where this setting is located?

Can´t find the darn thing.. I should have written it. I will find it sooner than later. Will get back to you with an answer.

Settings / Calling / Call / Line in Use

I can choose between Line 1 / Line 2. But line 2 does not work.

So I suspect it has something to do with sim from provider

I saw the below reply on another discussion:

The icon "1" (or "2") is shown if the ALS (Alternate Line Service) service is available with your network subscription. This will let you use two numbers with one SIM card.

If you have got this icon, you could check with your operator if the ALS service is currently enabled for you.
