No, not true. Older battery technologies did require a long initial overnight charge but that advice applies to very few modern phones. The C5 has a lithium ion battery, that type stops charging once it is full.
You simply charge your phone until the battery indicator stops moving and shows full. Depending on the current battery level it could take anywhere between 30mins to 3 hours.
It will take several discharge - charge cycles before the battery will perform at it's peak. So just charge it, use it then charge it again when it runs low. If you want to know more about lithium ion batteries searching google or wikipedia will give you lots of info.

As Psychomania has already stated, this is old advice that is still being given to buyers of many products even though it is no longer necessary.
Batteries supplied with phones today are usually already fully charged when put into the package, so depending how long it has sat on the shelf in the shop between leaving the factory your phone will be able to power up without any initial charge, so you can be charging it fully whilst you are doing your initial set-up and copying stuff from your older phone.

is 61.05 ver of nokia c5 is available for india?
Software availability depends on your product code, which denotes not only national/regional versions but also whether it is a standard Nokia or an operator-variant model customised to your network's specifications. The only way to know if your specific C5 can get a particular software version is to enter your product code in this page:

For future reference, you should start a new thread for new questions, noot change the topic of existing threads.
