verify connection *99***1# and *99#

does anyone know or
is there anyone who have some probem like me ?

this is my case,

when i connect to internet via bluetooth,
auto dialing with *99***1# and maxiumum speed = 115.5 kbps

and...

when i connect to internet via cable CA-53,
and application interface with PC Suite,
auto dialing with *99# and maximum speed = avg(410 kpbs)

what is mean ? why this is different

as u all know,
i set network mode to GSM
and Operato Selection to Manually

it's mean and for surely i don't have access 3G data

SIMPLE man.....


The speed between ...
Phone and PC is : 460 kbps
and Phone and Server* is: 115.5 kbps

* Server = your operator's GPRS/EDGE server.

YES, cable is more FASTER than Bluetooth.

But,that's not the answer.

If your Operator's server speed is 115.2 kbps then you will achieve this speed while using Internet though you have the connection speed 460 kbps(it's only the PC's and Phone's connection speed).

Got it ???

can u explain about dialing *99***1#
and *99# ?

why, dialing rules looks different for each media
(bluetooth and cable) ?

thanks, you are always welcomed to ask anything.

This two codes are followed in GSM phones for dialing the GPRS/EDGE profiles.

Specially, the code *99# is used by NOKIA(as far I heard).
the code*99***1# is used by other (and most) companies.

When you dial *99***1# ,the phone dials to the default and the INTERNET profile(not WAP).

thats it.
