nokia 5800 express music won't answer calls from certain callers

My nokia 5800 express music won't answer calls from certain callers in my contacts but does for others. I have downloaded the latest software and that didn't fix the problem. Its really annoying as one of the contacts it won't answer is my girlfriend! Has anyone got any advice or ideas?

Do you mean that you press the green button but the phone doesn't take the call? Or do you mean that it doesn't even ring in the first place?

If the latter then you want to look at the settings in your active profile that determine for which caller groups the phone will ring and make sure your GF is a member of one of the groups for which it is set to ring.

Maybe it's trying to tell you to break up with her?  I'm sure she's not good enough for you anyway, and your 5800 probably "gets you" way better than she ever will. :smileyvery-happy:

Hi I am just wondering if you managed to get this fault repaired?  My phone has just started doing this but its not just with one contact, any help would be appreciated.
