X6 Wi-fi stay connected

I was tried to disconnect the wlan but after a few seconds, it will reconnect again. May I know how to disconnect it permanently but will reconnect only went I'm surfing the internet?

Change your browser accesspoint settings to always ask before connecting.

This method is not working, I think this problem is caused by Nokia Messenger.

Problem solved after I use the deep reset method to reformat my X6

I had a very similar problem with my 5800, and all I had to do was turn the phone off and then on again, and WiFi disconnects after finishing with Mail/browsing.

Same issue with my X6 - go to menu/appz/mail/options/tools/GO OFFLINE ! solve it. Then go to settings/when to sync/NEVER
