(Similar or) Same problems occured on 1 of my vista platform. The problems might be caused by windows installed drivers before pcsuite had. One could transfer files, forward audio to nokia phones without pcsuite being installed, provided windows already had supported bluetooth drivers.
Hope this help:
If pcsuite had been installed and can communicate with the phone via bluetooth without problems. But the 3 "bluetooth peripheral device" drivers appeared in the windows' device manager page. Please try this (this MIGHT work):
(1) exit all pcsuite, sync (make sure it's NOT just minimized in windows' system tray)
(2) open control panel - bluetooth devices, if something like "your model of nokia phone" found, select it & delete it. The 3 not found drivers will be removed (as was deleted by previous step)
(3) open pcsuite, go to Settings - Manage Connections - highlight your Bluetooth connection, Select "configure"... follow pcsuite's instructions... paired up your phone again after a few clicks and key presses "Yes" on the phone to allow connections from PC to phone...
The 3 drivers should be reinstall properly: nokia ???? bluetooth modem, nokia portable device, (may be) serial port (com ??) over bluetooth link

@qubuqu
dude u totally nailed it and u have famous google search as well. ur solution works grt.
I did nt install nokia pc suite on my lappy before so I thought that might have been problem but even when I installed it I did nt get the drivers installed did google serach like for whole 2 days to get it riight almost thought maybe my nokia n73 does nt support the feature. Then came here and followed ur sollution and it works grt !!!!!!!!!!
Its dam strange though that drivers dont automaticlly install by themselves whn u install nokia pc suite on a bluetooth enabled laptop/desktop.......I think its nokia's fault fr making so ridiculous tricky way to get the drivers installed they should install immediatley on Nokia pc suite installation like with the usb drivers like they get installed once u connect ur phone fr the 1st time............ I mean who can have thought abt that what u did lol........try goggling the problem all over the world ppl are trying some solution or another and they obviously dnt work and to get this thing to work...
nd I made this id just so I comment here like many others probly here lol
thx dude fr sharing ur discovery with all of us again "_" !!!!!!!

I was slightly confused. If it's showing "vista unable to install bluetooth peripheral device", does it mean I have to do some internet search for free download bluetooth peripheral device driver? Or windows already has one but is not yet installed? Cause from the sound of it, you just need to configure it properly for it to work.

I uninstalled n80 in devices and printers, then I installed my old N70, then reinstalled the n8 and it is working fine.

Guys,
Nokia Suite used with a cable seems to be absolutely fine. Having done the steps below I can still Sync, browse my phone, send SMS, etc via Bluetooth connection.
I have done two things to make sure that the driver prompts don't come up:
1. In the properties for the phone as a Bluetooth device, disable Dial up working (DUN), OBEX PC Suite services and the Imaging Responder.
2. In the computer device manager when you open it up you should see the 3 or 4 Bluetooth Peripheral Devices which are asking for drivers. Right-click on each and disable them.
No more annoying messages. Not ideal but it is effective!
. Disabling all instances of Bluetooth Peripheral Device sorts the problem. Not tidy and outrageous that Nokia makes no effort to provide a proper answer either by word or by sorting out its sloppy software and do not even acknowledge that there's a problem. Customer service at its worst.

This works, but temporarily. The uninstallation of the device from Ovi suite & its reinstallation has to be repeated at each Windows login.

That's not true. For me it works perfectly even after reboot or after restarting the phone etc.
Make also sure that you add your laptop (or whatever) as a CERTIFIED DEVICE from the phone's settings. Meaning that when it is connected you can find your laptop among the list of connected devices and then just use the options to set your laptop as a certified device and the phone will never nag about the permissions or anything.
So basically what we have to do here, is to add your bluetooth device from within Nokia Ovi Suite. NOT via Windows' own bluetooth devices.
