The best way appears to be to use a SyncML service like zyb.com to copy over the full details of the contacts ( home , mobile , work ) to the 6233 Nokia phone.
Synchronize your contacts from the old phone ( Sony Ericsson T610 ) to zyb.com
( You will need a WAP profile from your operator to do the Sync , so keep that handy )
then change the SIM card to the new Nokia phone ( Nokia 6233 )
then add a new phone in zyb.com (i.e. Add the Nokia 6233 )
Synchronize on the Nokia 6233 ( you will need the WAP profile again from your service provider )
Now all your contacts have been transferred from your T610 to your Nokia.
Viola !

I think you can export all the contacts from the T610 to one big VCARD file (all contacts in one VCARD). Then you can split that file using my little program i wrote (.NET framework is needed) to split it in to separate contact VCARD files that can be quickly uploaded into the Nokia phone via Nokia PC Suite.
You can get it for free here: SuppCom vCARD splitter
Hope it helps to someone.
