Have downloaded ovi suite to computer and now trying to register my phone, nokia 6730. When asked to connect phone by USB after connected the program recognises my phone but will not let me continue to next stage as it says the device is not in pc suite mode, which it is. Have tried unplugging and reconnecting as suggested

Could you please check this settings and try.
Go to Device
Device Menu> Settings> Settings> Connection> USB
1. USB Connection Mode: Pc Suite
2. Ask on Connection: YES
After that Switch off/On your device and coonect with NOS> Select Pcsuite mode and try
If this does not help could you please provide more information on this?

uninstalled ovi suite from computer and re-installed and phone is now recognised so problem now solved.

Same thing is happening with my 6730, and I uninstalled and installed Ovi again, but the problem exists.

Same problem with my brand new C5. Contacted customer support (Europe) and next moring they responded:

Regarding your concern that you were unable to sync your Nokia C5 device using Ovi Suite. Kindly uninstall your Ovi Suite from your PC, please make sure that you also remove the PC Connectivity Solution and all Windows Driver Package-Nokia modem drivers. Uninstall the Nokia Connectivity Cable driver. After uninstalling the Ovi Suite, you may re-install it from this link below:

But my C5 cant still be connected in the Nokia Ovi Player. Does any1 know a solution ?
