Nokia 3710 Fold Earphones remote control

Hi

The earphones that come with the 3710 Fold are not so good. And the remote control is only jump ahead..

 

Is there an after market device that can attach to the 2.5mm jack that has pause, forward and back.

 

Ideally that would attach to a 3.5mm jack for more normal earbuds.

 

What are my options..?

A remote control attached to the phone can only do whatever the phone itself can do -- it couldn't do anything extra, since all it could do is to send signals to the phone. So your main requirement can't be met.

 

You can get adaptors (in the UK these are available from most mobile phone shops) so that standard ear buds with a 'normal' connector can be used with the 3710 fold (and other Nokia phones with the same connector). Of course you won't then have a microphone, but you will can certainly get much better quality sound when listening to music (which is actually what I mostly use my phone for).
