New N97 - setting up T-Mobile connection

I just got my N97 and wanted to set it up to use the internet. I use a T-Mobile data plan in case that matters. Under "settings - connectivity - destinations - internet" I can see the t-mobile internet, priority 1. However, I do not get connected to the internet. Any idea on what I need to do?
