Hi guys,

It's two weeks since, I'm having problems with my Nokia E90 mobile phone: when I try to activate my bluetooth, after a few seconds I receive the message "Unable to perform bluetooth operation", but this doesn't work in this way permanently because some times works and some times doesn't work, it occurs trying to connect to my vehicle free-hands device or even just activating bluetooth.

I can't understand what's happening because til now my bluetooth device worked fine.

So, could anybody help me? because now I'm working with my USB connection, but this is not very operative.

Try to restore the factory setting or get a FW update.

something wrong with your firmware.get in touch with your nokia care they should get it work

you can try restore factory settings by master reset before going to nokia care but backup your data before doing that

Have the problem that bluetooth appears to not be working at all in my e90. Reset to factory settings to no avail. Tried to up-date phone software (which is actually up-to-date) but updater said phone would not be supported. Need help urgently or else will throw phone away. Merci.

Exactly the same problem over here:

-FW 210.34.75 newly installed
-No paired devices listed
-Device is set visible

When trying to switch on Bluetooth, the error message above keeps appearing.

Reset to factory settings (using *#7370#) doesn't give any improvement.

In short: BT has become useless after the FW update.

Any suggestions to resolve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Gave the phone to a Nokia repair shop where they will erase everything on the phone and reinstall software. Hope to get it right this time. Will let you know on Wednesday (June4th). Best. Tbw

i heard the 210 sw is only a beta software and is for testing only... it could be causing you the problem...

Nokia Care advised me to have the software completely reinstalled at a Nokia Care Center, as they can do it more thoroughlu over there. This is scheduled for thursday. I'll keep you posted.

SOLUTION "UNABLE TO PERFORM BLUETOOTH OPERATION"
Well, I had the some problem with my Nokia 6630.
The method seems crazy...but work!
Do you remember one time to repair a tv? some knock against the side of tv and after...it worked!
Well, when you have this problem, you have to knock!! I knock against the other hand 4-5 times. (I do that on the switch on/off side!)
I do that and now work! Always!! I don't know why but work!
It's true, isn't a joke!
Try and tell me!

Crazy, but it works... First and second switch on/off didn't help, but third and then fourth worked.
