I am trying to access the internet with my N82 through a WLAN hotspot in a hotel. The connection uses WPA2. I can connect to the WLAN without any problems, but then the N82 does not connect to the internet (on some occasions I get a message that the internet gateway is not responding). When I connect to the same hotspot with my notebook computer I can access the internet without any problems.

I've noticed that the internet data rate is very low and thus the connection is very slow. Could this be the cause? Any other suggestions?

The power of the WIFI of phone are not that strong as of Laptop, because of battery consideration. Try to go to other loaction of the hotel where the signal is strong & try it. The slowness account for this also, since there are so many drops in packets becuse of poor receptions.

Thanks - but I don't think that this is really the problem. The connection between the N82 and the WLAN is actually very good. The low data rate is not caused by a poor WLAN connection but by a slow internet connection of the network (nevertheless the internet access with the laptop works without mentionable problems ...).
