Hello everyone,

I have noticed following issues when using N8 as a modem for a laptop. When BT connection between N8 and laptop breaks for one reason or another, then the modem on the N8 gets stuck on some mode from which it cannot recover without reboot. Either Ovi suite tells that modem is occupied by some other program when trying to open network connection or when selecting Connect, the connecting... message very very briefly blinks on the Ovi suite screen and then resets back to original non-connected state and you can immediately click Connect again with similar results. I've tried to disconnect all internet connections via phone settings, but it does not matter, modem in the phone refuses to co-operate. Restarting Ovi suite does not help either, only rebooting phone resolves this issue.

Another topic is about BT connection between phone and laptop. This is only a gut feeling mind you, but to me it seems that BT connection between laptop and phone breaks a lot more easily if the phone is charging at the time of BT connection. Connection broke twice within 5 minutes just now when my phone was charging from a wall. After I unplugged phone from the charger and opened BT connection once again between phone and laptop, I've had no issues for 30 minutes and counting, anybody else noticed similar behavior?

In short, does anybody know a way to reset N8 modem without actually rebooting the whole phone?
